The origin of the company date back to the late 1800, when it was founded
by Giuseppe Dal Prà, succeeded by his son Luigi and presently run
by Luigi's daughter, Giselda Dal Prà together with her children Giuseppe
and Angela Nosadini. The realisation of the collections is the result of
an ongoing process of research in museums, art galleries and antique collections
in order to retrieve old traditional themes. The company showrooms reflects
this, enconpassing both the history and culture of ceramics in Nove.
San Marco is known internationally and exports all over the world. Among
San Marco production are refined tableware, vases, exquisite planters, centrepieces,
lamps and ashtrays. San Marco is as famous for its originality and workmanship
of the hand painting, as for the depth of detail, colour, beauty and striking
composition of its transfers. |
